Bea Morrow is a visual artist. Her practice spans photography, bookmaking, and poetry, culminating in artist books. Volunteering with queer and trans teens in an important part of Bea’s life and art practice. She leads speaking engagements and workshops for her hometown high school Gender and Sexuality Alliance clubs. Being an Eagle Scout, she also is an assistant scoutmaster for a local Scouts BSA troop comprised of gender diverse scouts. Her current art project connects to these values as she makes portraits of trans adults in their homes to share examples of the next steps in life with trans teens.

Academically, she is a photography BFA student with a teaching artist minor at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Bea makes the Dean’s List every semester and receives her school’s Presidential Scholarship. Her most recent book The Heat Death of Our Suns was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter and has been represented in the Minnesota Center for Book Art’s New Editions show and the Hennepin County Library’s artist book collection.
